Check temperature, wind, and sky conditions before heading to the field. Severe weather alerts for coaches. Check the weather for upcoming events right inside HuddleUp — before you pack the car. ## How It Works HuddleUp shows live weather data for each event's location. Open any event to see: * **Current conditions** — Temperature, sky conditions, wind * **Game-time forecast** — What the weather will be like when the event starts * **Hourly breakdown** — Tap for a detailed hourly forecast around the event time Weather icons also appear directly on event cards in the [calendar](/docs/families/family-calendar), so you can spot weather concerns at a glance without opening each event. ## Severe Weather Alerts Coaches and league admins receive severe weather alerts when dangerous conditions (thunderstorms, extreme heat, high winds) are forecast for an event location. This helps coaches make timely decisions about cancellations or venue changes. ## Why It Matters No more checking a separate weather app and cross-referencing with your schedule. If rain is coming for Saturday's tournament, you'll know right from the event card. Pair weather updates with [push notifications](/docs/families/notifications) for cancellations. If the league cancels due to weather, you'll get notified immediately.
